This is a story of woman who robbed a man.
The man, a certain Mr. Christopher James Casciotta, was enjoying the weather of an ordinary Spring day with some companions in a neighborhood not far from his own. When one of his friends suggested they visit the house of a certain Miss. Kelly O’Dell, Mr. Casciotta, who was never opposed to the thought of meeting strangers, accepted the idea.
That afternoon, on the porch of Miss O’Dell, the man and the woman met for the first time. It was shortly after this meeting, the man suspected Miss O’Dell of devising a plan against him.
In Miss O’Dell’s defense it was an easy assignment. Mr. Casciotta’s defenses were almost immediately weakened by her fair complexion, speckled-brown eyes, intelligent demeanor, and humble assurance. It did not take long before the woman found it quite easy to take possession of one of his most carefully preserved belongings.
Mr. Casciotta has since then only been able to tell what he knows to be true…
”I showed up on her porch and she stole my heart.”
A ceremony to pray for both the thief and the victim’s souls will be held on the eleventh of September, Two Thousand Ten in the town of Romona, California. Friends and family are invited with a picnic to follow.
